CRICKET: Prestwich completed the second part of a possible quadruple in the Lancashire County League when their second team beat Denton West in the Hulme trophy final.
It was their fifth success in the last five years of the reserve knockout competition.
They also comfortably lead the Division Two title race after beating Irlam's seconds on Sunday.
They won in the last over with just three wickets to spare.
Meanwhile, Prestwich's table-topping first team are on course to win the first division championship for the second time in four years after they too beat Irlam on Sunday.
Despite struggling at 77 for eight in response to Irlam's 83 all out, Prestwich won via a huge six from batsman Holt.
They also had spinner Ahmed to thank for a great spell with the ball.
