ALL four of the local cricket clubs recorded at least one victory at the weekend.

Unsworth won their battle at fellow Lake Garage Central Lancashire League title hopefuls Monton and Weaste by 91 runs after setting the home side a challenging target of 201 runs for the loss of seven wickets.


 

Stand victorious in derby battle

STAND produced an impressive batting display to topple Lees Brewery Lancashire County League champions Prestwich on Saturday.

Mixed fortunes for local quartet

THERE were two wins and two defeats involving the four local clubs in league action at the weekend.


 

Prestwich letting the side down

STAND, Radcliffe and Unsworth all recorded wins on Saturday but fellow local club Prestwich let the side down by losing at home to Glossop by seven wickets.
