Injury-free Shakers wary of Barnet threat

BURY boss Alan Knill is expected to name an unchanged team for the sixth successive game as the Shakers attempt to record their first ever win against Barnet on Saturday, September 20, kick-off 3pm.

Barnet have picked up just one point from their first six League Two fixtures.

But Knill insists that his Shakers side will be going up against one of the most dangerous sides in the division at the weekend.

He said: "I am sure that it will be a very tough game. Barnet may not have started the season very well but they are good at home and they have players that can cause you a lot of problems.

"I see them as being one of the most dangerous sides in the division.

"But if we continue to show the same attitude, commitment and work ethic that we have been showing lately then we will be okay.

"Injury wise, we don’t have any again. It’s incredible and I just hope that it stays like that.

"The players are making it hard for me to drop any of them at the moment. They have the shirt but I know that I have plenty waiting that want that shirt. That’s the idea – that’s what we wanted.

"This squad is capable of competing no matter which players I select for a game. We have won four of our six league games and drawn the other two. We are obviously delighted with that but there is a long way to go.

"All we can do is stay focused and keep picking up points from the teams that we play against."
