Destined for glory

4/ 9/2008

BURY keeper Wayne Brown says that Alan Knill is proving that he is destined for a successful career in football management.

Shakers boss Knill has taken Bury from relegation battlers to table-toppers since moving into the hot-seat in February.

And Brown said: "All this stems from the gaffer. He’s a top quality coach and one day in the future he will move on and manage at a higher level – hopefully when we get promoted.

"We have a strong bunch of boys here and a good unit.

"We’ve got a strong defence and a good midfield and once Andy Bishop and the other strikers start firing on all cylinders we won’t go far wrong."
