SHAKERS boss Alan Knill has revealed the qualities that he is looking for from new signings.

Knill, who has been working tirelessly in a bid to strengthen the side for next season, said: "We have a tight budget and it is not easy trying to get quality players who will fit into our wage structure.

"But what I am looking for is hungry players who want to get better. I want players who have got a point to prove, players who want to prove people wrong.

"I also want players who know about this league (Football League Two). I don’t want players that come in here and it appears to be a shock to them.

"The players coming in will be experienced. I already have kids so I don’t need to go and look for any."
