Shakers' six pre-season dates

BURY have announced that they play six pre-season friendly games – against Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Radcliffe Borough, Huddersfield Town, Leigh RMI and Northwich Victoria.
Championship giants Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United will visit Gigg Lane on Saturday, July 26, kick-off 3pm, and Tuesday, July 29, kick-off 7.45pm, respectively.
United are managed by former Shakers coach Kevin Blackwell, who is assisted by ex-Bury manager Sam Ellis.
Another former Bury manager in Stan Tennant is at the helm at League Two side Huddersfield, who will provide the opposite for Bury’s first home pre-season fixture on Saturday, July 19, kick-off 3pm.
Before that, Bury’s annual pre-season game with near neighbours and UniBond League side Radcliffe will be held at the Inn2gether Stadium on Tuesday, July 8, kick-off 7.45pm.
Bury will visit UniBond side Leigh RMI and Conference club Northwich on Tuesday, July 22, kick-off 7.30pm, and Saturday, August 2, kick-off 3pm, respectively.
