Bury a hard sell

8/ 5/2008

MANAGER Alan Knill admits that he faces a difficult task in trying to attract quality players to Bury.

Knill has identified several transfer targets as he looks to steer the club away from annual relegation battles.

But he says that Bury’s League Two record over the last few years makes the club a hard sell.

"I know what positions need strengthen and the sort of players that we need to bring in," Knill said. "But it is not easy convincing players to come to Bury.

"The club has had a relegation fight for the last three years and players know that so you have to sell it really well."
