Bennett hope

BURY manager Alan Knill is hoping that his friendship with Wolves boss Mick McCarthy will help him to bring winger Elliott Bennett back to Gigg Lane for next season.
Bennett returned to his parent club Wolves this week following an impressive three-month loan spell with the Shakers.
But Knill said: "Elliott likes it here. And, fortunately, I’m pretty friendly with Mick and if Mick thinks that this is the best place for Elliott to develop then hopefully we will have a chance of taking him next season.
"The good thing for me is that since he came in we haven’t hindered him – we’ve helped him.
"Elliott is not good enough for Wolves but there is a really good player there.
"He still needs work but he has got a lot of qualities. The best thing for him is that he goes out (on loan) again next season and learns."
Bennett, aged 19, has a year left on his Wolves contract.
