Tariq is staying

RADCLIFFE have cause for celebration after professional Usman Tariq signed up for a third successive season with the club.
The Pakistani all rounder, who has been labelled the best professional in the Lake Garage Central Lancashire League by Radcliffe chairman Chris Franklin, turned down offers from other clubs to pen a 12-month contract extension.
Tariq has been a revelation for the club, hitting 1,300 runs last season and more than 1,100 runs so far this campaign as well as taking over 25 wickets.
He is getting married at the end of the month and will move to the area permanently from Pakistan in January.
Tariq will qualify to play for England in two years’ time.
