Steal her style: Vici
Helen Tither16/ 5/2008
EVERY week we're out on the style scene scouting out you fabulous fashionistas. This week Helen Tither caught up with 24-year-old Vici Thompson, a victim support worker from Manchester, to find out about her look.
How would you describe your style?
My boyfriend would probably say I'm not a very good dresser - I think he prefers skinny jeans and high heels. But then, I dress him most of the time! I would sum my look up as off-key skater maybe.
Where did you buy today's outfit and how much did it cost?
Vest: Bershka, £10
Jeans: Superdry, £40
Belt: Adidas factory, Stockport, £5
Trainers: Nike, present from boyfriend
Who is your style icon?
I don't know. If I like something I just wear it. I don't like to follow what's in fashion.
Name your favourite shops.
Joy and Superdry
What's your best ever buy?
A coat I got from Joy, reduced from £90 to £28, I wear it all the time.
What's your biggest fashion mistake?
I dyed my hair blonde all over once and it looked awful. I didn't even want to go out to school.
How much do you usually spend on clothes each month?
More than I should most probably. Around £100.
What item of clothing can't you live without?
A short grey hoodie I've got that I wear all the time. In the winter it keeps me warm underneath other clothes. In summer it's just easy to pop into my bag.
