IT'S that time of year where Style In The City reminds you just how good the show is and puts together a few of our best bits. The items have been chosen by producer Claire and myself with you and your lifestyles in mind.

In tonight's show, Debs Hatfield from Manchester Arndale's retail therapy team guides us through the minefield that is swimwear.

She's on hand to let us know about this season's colours and what style suits what shape.

If, like me, your New Year's resolutions are a distant memory, then make sure you tune in tonight for a polite push in the right direction.

Detox

We head to Ramsbottom to find out how to detox your body and beauty regime. The two lovely sisters from Earth Mother are the ultimate experts in organic lotions and potions, so if you have fallen off the wagon make sure you don't miss it.

I am a true believer in if you haven't got it, then cheat your way to it. My lashes are false, my hair is highlighted and my limbs are false-tanned. I search through the glossy magazines with a magnifying glass to see how Hallé applies her liquid eyeliner. All in the name of research.

Well, I was most excited to get an invite to House of Fraser to attend a beauty clinic. I was promised that the experts there would be able to show us how to create film star good looks with the right shading and a lick of gloss.

Make sure you tune in to see our models cheating their way to sweeping lashes, kissable lips and killer cheekbones.
